Orange pudding.
Cream together 4oz butter and 4oz sugar. Beat in 2 eggs and orange
essence to taste. Grate the peel of 2 oranges and beat this in as well.
Add 6oz of self raising flour and use orange juice as necessary to reduce
the mixture's thickness. Place the juice of one orange, with sugar and
cocoa to taste in the bottom of an oiled bowl in which the pudding will
be cooked. Pour the cake mix on top of the syrup mixture and steam for
1.5 hours. Serve with finely sliced stewed oranges.

Something tasty on a shoestring.
Liver is a relatively cheap and nutritious food yet for most children
it's a real turn off. The solution - liver burgers. A good amount of
cumin and one or 2 slices of bread (crusts cut off) are added to the
liver and the whole concoction finely chopped in a food processor. The
resulting mixture is placed in burger sized dollops in a pan and fried
in olive oil. The cumin makes the liver into a delicious tasting burger
and the bread gives it a wonderfully crumbly texture.

Pasta, sweet corn and bacon.
Simple yet tasty.

Toffee says "as a canine I have gained a reputation for delighting
in the consumption of less than savory food stuffs. This is a foul slur
on my character as I certainly spend less than eighty percent of my
time doing this. In fact, I am really quite the bon-viveur and in my
opinion you certainly can't get much better than a bowl of sardines
in olive oil. The acoustic quality of a can of fish being opened is
unique and audible from long range. This alerts me to the impending
'dine-feast and by the time I've reached my bowl salivation is in full
swing. Sardines are best consumed rapidly. We dogs understand that oxidization
can impair the taste of a quality food like sardines hence consumption
of what can only be described as an epicure's delight must be conducted
at high speed. Hope you enjoy this simple but effective recipe. Love
Toffee."
